Treatment Planning

Individualized Treatment Planning Process

The Laugh & Learn Therapy’s professional team will develop individualized treatment, for each client, based on their specific needs.

  • Assessment – this is the first step of ABA therapy. Your child will meet with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who will assess strengths, weaknesses, needs and goals. From this information, the BCBA will develop a treatment plan.
  • Treatment – this will involve using various techniques to work toward your child’s goals. Treatment sessions can last up to several hours at a time.
  • Parent/Caregiver Training – this involves offering support and training to parents/caregivers. BCBAs will teach parents and family members skills and strategies that will help maintain desirable behaviors in the home, school and community settings.
